Public board links

Share your board, roadmap, and changelog URLs from the dashboard Share page.

Every public board has stable URLs you can drop into your product, help menu, footer, or docs. Set them once and keep collecting feedback without rebuilding links when you reorganize the dashboard.

URL shapes

On the default SignalBoard host, paths look like this (replace slugs with yours):

  • Board: /b/workspace-slug/board-slug
  • Roadmap: /b/workspace-slug/board-slug/roadmap
  • Changelog: /b/workspace-slug/board-slug/changelog
  • Individual post: /b/workspace-slug/board-slug/p/post-id

Full example on this site: /b/acme/feature-requests, plus its roadmap and changelog.

Custom domains (Pro)

On Pro you can attach a custom domain so customers see something like feedback.yourapp.com instead of a signalboard.space path. Board, roadmap, and changelog keep the same path structure under your domain. Setup steps: Custom domain & white-label.

Share page

In the dashboard, open Share for the board. You get:

  • Copy buttons for the public board, roadmap, and changelog URLs
  • Embed snippet for the iframe feedback widget
  • Helpers for asking an engineer to add the widget (short message you can paste into Slack or email)

Prefer an in-app panel that never leaves your product? Use the iframe embed. Prefer a full page customers can bookmark? Use the public board links.

Where to place links

  • Product nav or help menu — “Request a feature” → board URL
  • Marketing footer — roadmap or changelog for transparency
  • Release notes / blog — changelog URL when you ship
  • Support macros — board link so tickets become votes
  • Docs site — embed widget or deep link to a category of requests

Privacy and indexing

Public boards are meant to be shared. If a board is private (Pro), only workspace members can view it — do not put private board URLs in public marketing pages. For team access, see Team invites.
