Import from Canny / CSV

Export posts and votes as CSV, import into SignalBoard, and finish a migration in an afternoon.

Switching from Canny (or any tool that can export CSV) is straightforward. Bring titles, details, statuses, and vote counts over, then keep using voting, roadmap, and changelog on SignalBoard.

Steps

  1. Export. In Canny, export posts (and vote counts) as CSV. Keep title, details, status, and votes columns when available.
  2. Create a SignalBoard board. Sign up, create a workspace and board.
  3. Import. Open Board settings → Import, upload the CSV, and review the results. Imports accept up to 1,000 rows and 2 MB per file.
  4. Optional domain. On Pro, attach a custom domain and remove branding. See Custom domain & white-label.
